Here you will find answers to some of the most common questions we are asked by prospective students. If you do not see the answer to a question you have, or if you would like to learn more about E.D.P. School, please call us at (718) 332-6469 between the hours of 9 AM and 9 PM, Monday through Friday, and 9 AM and 3 PM, Saturdays and Sundays.
General Information
E.D.P. School is a non-profit institution of higher education devoted to students interested in continuing their education as well as securing professional employment in the financial, medical and technological fields.
E.D.P. School can be found in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn, New York. We are conveniently located right off of the Belt Parkway and easy to reach from Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan or Staten Island.

For Public Transportation & Mass Transit
Via Subway: Take the B or Q train to the Sheepshead Bay/East 16th Street stop.
Via MTA City Bus: In Brooklyn, use the B4, B36, or B49 bus lines.
Driving Directions
If you’re coming from Queens or Long Island: Take the Belt Parkway and exit 8, “Coney Island Avenue.” Make a right at the stop sign. The school is about 50 feet up the road, on your left-hand side, right across the street from a municipal parking lot. If you are coming from Staten Island: Take the Belt Parkway East to exit 8-“Coney Island Avenue.” Drive straight on Shore Parkway, and then turn slight-right to stay on Shore Parkway. Next, turn left onto Sheepshead Bay Road, and then turn left again onto Voorhies Avenue. The school will be on your right-hand side, in the middle of the block.

The standard pre-requisite for all of our academic programs is a high school diploma or equivalency. The Ultrasound Sonogpraphy program requires a Bachelor’s Degree.
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage all prospective students to come and visit the school’s facilities in person. That’s a great opportunity to also get acquainted with our faculty and staff members.

Yes! Federal Student Aid is available to those who qualify. For information regarding the different types of aid that are available, please visit the page titled “Available Financial Aid Programs.”
E.D.P. School does not implement “fall” and/or “spring” semesters like traditional 4-year universities. Instead, we employ a Rolling Admissions Policy.
A Rolling Admissions Policy means we continuously accept and review applications contingent upon openings in specific programs. We recommend submitting your application as early as possible to ensure a seat in your preferred program of study. Once your completed admissions forms are received, we make every effort to notify you of our enrollment decision within 2-4 weeks.
Yes, E.D.P. School offers night time classes. We encourage you to speak with an admissions representative to discuss night course enrollment opportunities.
Yes! E.D.P. School also offers weekend classes. Again, we encourage you to speak directly with an admissions representative to discuss exact weekend enrollment opportunities.
